46th Haryana Day celebrated at Haryana Raj Bhavan

The 46th Haryana Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Haryana Raj Bhawan here today where Haryana Governor Mr. Jagannath Pahadia was the Chief Guest and the Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda presided over the function. Lady Governor Mrs. Shanti Pahadia also graced the occasion.
The Governor and the Chief Minister extended their heartiest greetings to the people of Haryana on this significant day. A variety cultural programme projecting the colorful culture and life of the people of Haryana was presented by the artistes on this occasion. This programme included folk songs, folk music and folk dances which entertained the audience profusely.
Mr. Pahadia and Mr. Hooda also honoured the artistes who had participated in the cultural programme. The Governor announced a discretionary grant of Rs.three lakh for all the participants.
Education Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal, Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Mr. Ram Kishan Fouji and Mr. Sultan Singh Jadaula, MLAs Mr. Sampat Singh, Mr. Ashok Arora and Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar, Chief Secretary Mrs. Urvashi Gulati, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Chhatar Singh, Additional Principal Secretaries to Chief Minister Dr. K.K. Khandelwal and Mr. Shiv Raman Gaur, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Prof. Virender Singh, Chairman Haryana Public Service Commission Lt. General (Retd.) Mr. D.P. Vats, Chairman Haryana Staff Selection Commission Mr. Vijay Kumar Chug, senior civil and police officers were also present on the occasion.
